"take an empty jar and put it in your room. Every time something good happens to you - it doesn't matter if it's just a little thing. If it makes you happy - write on a little paper why you are happy. fold the paper and put it in the jar, and see how many little presents life gave you. Do it each year"
I just opened this jar of 200 little happy notes waiting for me.
Some things, like the beauty of Ilsan (Korea), my baptism, and going to six flags for the first time, made me smile. Other things, like Okinawa, the time I spent with last year seniors, and last year's spring concert made me feel a bit nostalgic. But each and every note made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside with the memories of 2013.
I put all the notes in a small book so I can preserve the memories and in the future, they will again be looked as a remembrance of the good moments of 2013. I hope that I can do this again next year and have a small tradition of looking back into the past through my happy jar.
^ bye bye until next time
