carlsbad adventure

Hello my unseen audience, it's been a while I know.

Last week, I went to Carlsbad with a couple friends to go to the flower fields and Legoland! It was a lot of fun :3 I took some pictures and I wanted to share it here since Facebook posting isn't really my thing.

The flower fields are in full bloom and it was such a lovely sight. It reminded me of:
"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith?" (Matthew 6:28-31).

Here are some cute / gross couple pictures that we took !

After spending a couple hours in the flower fields, we headed off to Legoland! Going to Legoland brought so many childhood memories, especially Granny Apple Fries. For some odd reason, my parents would buy it for me, even though they don't usually buy amusement park food. It was pretty expensive, but so worth! [Michelle, we will go to Legoland together some day I promise!!] I think my favorite part of the park was visiting the "MiniLand" where they have miniature buildings and cities created with Lego blocks. I thought it was so funny that they changed "Forever 21" into "Always 22" in the Broadway exhibit. I also got really excited when I saw the City Corp Tower, but it was just the engineering me that was geeking out lol.

We also spent some time building Logo and Bionicle creations in some of the stations that they offered. It felt kind of childish, but we enjoyed it all the more. It was really nice to just be able to get away from the stressful atmosphere of school (even though it was only first week..) and enjoy time together.

Also, I want to start blogging more because I think it'll be good for me and my mental / emotional health. :)

bye bye until next time ^
